Simi Paul ’24, Writer, Journalism Class 2022-2023
In the past two years Simi has gained an interest in writing that brought her to Journalism. Jane Austen, an English novelist, and one of Simi’s favorite authors gave her inspiration, and helped her move from hating writing to possibly wanting to be a journalist in the future. One of her favorite things about this old novelist was her ability to give different views on different topics. Simi is often described as outgoing, loud, funny (sometimes), and always has something to say. You can count on her to give you a voice. Outside of school you can find her hanging out with friends, or doing lots of art. With her past experiences with speech and debate and participation in AA Other Voices, she now will be furthering her love for writing with journalism.
