The Advocate

Liliana Esparza ’21
Liliana Esparza is a senior and has been a writer for the advocate since February of last year. One of her strengths is her passion for things ranging from TV shows to feminism and social justice. Her weakness is being a people pleaser and overworking to gain respect. One fact many wouldn’t know about her is that she is a “nerd”, when it comes to stuff like video games and comic books. Liliana has many people who have influenced her writing/life including Jason Reynolds (activist and author), Angela Davis (radical feminist and the most amazing women to ever exist), Bryan Stevenson (criminal justice lawyer and author), and lastly Mr. Packer who completely changed the way she views the world.
