It has been a wild NFL season so far. With many teams having a chance to make the playoffs, it appears a multitude of teams could win it all. Let’s look at the best and worst teams after Week 11.
Buffalo Bills:
The Bills started this season strong, and they continue to impress. This insuperable force of a team that has a great offense led by quarterback Josh Allen is extremely hard to beat. They just beat the previously undefeated Kansas City Chiefs, and with no looming threat in their division, the road to the playoffs should be an easy one.
Kansas City Chiefs:
The Kansas City Chiefs season has been a roller coaster ride so far. They started off the season by going 9-0, before losing to the Buffalo Bills this week, but the road to those nine wins was a wild one. Of the Chiefs’ nine wins, five could have very easily gone the other way. Now a win is a win, but if Kansas City keeps cutting games this close, they might not last through the postseason. Still, being 9-1 to start the season, it is hard to argue that the Chiefs will be a favorite for the Super Bowl this year which would be their third in a row.
Washington Commanders:
The Washington Commanders have easily been the most surprising team this season. They are 7-4, and although they just had their second straight loss this past week, they are still a formidable force of a football team. The Commanders just drafted their starting QB Jayden Daniels this season, but as a rookie, he has played outstandingly and has proved that he has what it takes to make it in the NFL. The Commanders are currently second in the NFC East, but with the talent and playmaking of Jayden Daniels, they could still easily win the division.
Miami Dolphins:
The Miami Dolphins have not had the season that anyone thought they would. Currently, they sit at 4-6 and are going to have to go on a late-season run to have any chance of making the playoffs. The Dolphins should have an excellent team with their explosive, offensive weapons, but things just haven’t worked out. The Dolphins didn’t have a great chance of winning after their starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was out for 5 weeks because of a concussion. Miami could still make the playoffs, but it is going to take great play and some help.
Dallas Cowboys:
The Cowboys has been in short abysmal. Coming into the season Dallas was supposed to be one of the favorites in the NFC East, but that is so far from the truth. Before Week 11, the Cowboys have lost 3 games by 20 points or more and have only won 1 game by more than 5 points. On top of all of this star QB, Dak Prescott was just ruled out for the remainder of the season. The Cowboys are going to have to play extremely well to make the playoffs and even then, it will be hard. For Dallas, it might be better to just look ahead to next season.
Every week in the NFL is a new adventure full of surprises. This is why there is no doubt that the second half of the season will be just as good as the first and a great season to watch. With the caliber of teams and players, it truly is anyone’s ball game.
