The number of cities left in Taylor Swift’s world-renowned Eras Tour. It is currently the highest-grossing tour ever. Each Swiftie who visited a city where the Eras Tour was held spent an average of $1,300, totaling approximately 3-5 million dollars in revenue for each home city. However, the Eras Tour is much more than a huge source of revenue. It is a place where people from around the world go to be themselves, try on fun costumes, trade friendship bracelets, and sing their hearts out to their favorite songs. Evermore, Taylor’s 8th studio album, included a song called, “No Body No Crime,” which featured the group HAIM. It became one of the most famous songs from Evermore, Taylor’s second pandemic album. Evermore is a sister album to her first pandemic album, Folklore. When performing the Evermore Era in Seattle,. Taylor surprised the audience by bringing out HAIM and singing, “No Body No Crime” live for the first time ever!

Another special moment from the Evermore Era is the speech Taylor gave before singing “Champagne Problems.” In the first ever Eras Tour concert, Taylor spoke to rumors of her hate for Evermore. Taylor hadn’t wished the album a happy first anniversary which sparked the rumors on social media. She told the eager audience, “We’re currently in the middle of the Evermore album, which is an album I absolutely love, despite what some of you say on TikTok.” This moment reassured the die-hard Evermore Swifties, who will defend it to their graves, champagne problems and all.

Long Live is added to the Eras Tour setlist, Kansas City (N1)
One of Taylor’s first hits, “Long Live” is from her Taylor’s third studio album, Speak Now. It describes falling in love with thousands of people watching and Taylor’s love for her fans. Taylor told the crowd before singing the song at the Reputation Stadium Tour, “This is a song that, for me, will always remind me of you guys.” “Long Live” is a song that unites the entire Swiftie community. Therefore it was a shock when it was not present in the Tour setlist. However, Taylor surprised the audience at Kansas City Night 1 by playing the song in the Speak Now Era, adding it to the setlist. The song remained part of the tour until Taylor cut it to make room for the Tortured Poets Department setlist.

She announced the re-recorded version of 1989, otherwise known as 1989 Taylor’s Version, at her concert in LA, during the surprise song section. TheShe announcement was sprinkled with “1989” references: it occurred d it on August 9th, and Taylor began the exciting news by sayingstating, “Here we are on the 8th month and the 9th day.” 1989 was Taylor’s first pop album and is named after the year she was born.

Rain is a good luck sign in the Swiftie community as Taylor has never let rain stop her performance.

Karma is special to the Swiftie community. It is the supposed name of Taylor’s elusive 6th album which was pulled at the last minute, (with Reputation taking its place.) “Karma” is also a hit single on Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album, Midnights. “Karma” has two versions, the original, and one with a rap verse sung by Ice Spice. The “Karma” music video premiered at the Eras Tour in East Rutherford. Taylor then invited Ice Spice on stage where she sang the song for the concert finale, with Ice Spice rapping the verse for the first time live!
3. No One Saw Taylor Flip Coming!

The “I Can See You” music video premiered at the Eras Tour, the night before the album was released. Taylor’s ex and current friend, Taylor Lautner, as well as Joey King, and Presley Cash watched and acted out the video with Taylor that night. Lautner famously flipped on stage, leaving the crowd and Taylor flabbergasted and stunned. Taylor is known for her great friendship with all three actors and the music video is one of Taylor’s most iconic ones.

No one knew what to expect with the Eras Tour. It wasn’t named after an album, and Taylor hadn’t toured since four of her albums had been released. When the fans figured out songs from every album were featured and that the show was 3 hours long, there was shock. There had never been a Taylor tour (or concert in general) like this before. Everybody’s favorite album was featured and if their favorite song wasn’t in the setlist, it would be played at least once in the surprise song section of the tour. Songs like Dear John were played for the first time in 11 years.
Since the Eras tour is over 150 shows long, with new things happening every night, we couldn’t cover every special moment. Here are some notable moments that weren’t ranked in the top 13.
Taylor Helping Her Fans in Rio De Janeiro
Taylor Swift performed 3 shows in Rio De Janeiro. The temperature at these notorious shows was 110 degrees. Water bottles weren’t allowed in the concert so people were suffering from dehydration. A 23-year-old fan named Ana Clara Benevides tragically passed away. Taylor paid tribute to her, and ensured water was available at all shows. Since this incident, she has stopped in the middle of her performances to check on fans and ask if they are okay.
Indianapolis N3, The Last United States Show
The Last United States show was emotional for everyone, especially Taylor. The last show in the US. made people start to look to the end of the Eras Tour, as all remaining shows are now in Canada. Therefore, the night held lots of significance for everyone in the crowd. Taylor showed her thanks by singing songs, in her surprise song section, that told the audience goodbye.

“Karma” is easily one of Taylor Swift’s biggest hits. During one lyric, Taylor sings about Karma being the “guy on the screen,” a reference. This lyric referred to her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. When Travis came to Taylor’s concert, she had a little surprise for him. She changed the song lyric to, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs”. Now, one of the most followed Eras Tour traditions is to see which nights Taylor changes the lyric.
