On Saturday, August 30, the Albuquerque Academy boys varsity team tied 2-2 with Atrisco Heritage Academy. The girls varsity team lost their game 0-2 to Sandia High School.
The girls are scheduled next to play on September 3 against Del Norte High School in continuation of the tournament. The boys will play again on September 11 against Hope Christian School, also part of tournament play.
Both teams are part of the 5A Division, which also includes teams from St. Pius X High School, Los Lunas High School, and Moriarty High School.
