Running Backs

Alvin Kamara: Kamara posted his best game of the season in the Saints’ Monday night victory over the Seahawks. He rushed for 51 yards, caught 10 out of 11 passes for 128 yards, and had the Saints’ only touchdown of the night. The Saints offense is centered around Kamara and he should be started each week. Look for him to have another solid game against a Buccaneers defense who just gave up 143 rushing yards to the Bears.

D’Andre Swift: Although the Lions couldn’t keep their lead, Swift finished with a season-high 28.4 points against the Rams this week. Swift had a total of 144 yards, a receiving touchdown, and a whopping eight catches in the Lions’ loss. As one of the only bright spots in the Lions’ offense, Swift is a solid RB2 every week.

Damien Harris: In a blowout win over the Jets, Harris was able to capitalize on his matchup with a weak defense. Harris rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns, while also catching two passes for another seven yards. Harris had his best game of the season finishing with 25.3 points. With back-to-back games of 100+ rushing yards, Harris is looking like a solid RB2 option.

D’Ernest Johnson: In his NFL debut Johnson rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown against a weak Denver defense. Adding two receptions for 22 yards, Johnson finished with a total of 24.8 points. Johnson capitalized on the absences of the Browns’ top two running backs and had a strong performance. However, should Nick Chubb return next week, Johnson is an RB3/Flex option at best.

Brandon Bolden: Emerging as the new receiving threat in the Patriots backfield, Bolden caught six out of seven passes for 79 yards and a touchdown against the Jets this week. Bolden finished with a season-high 19.9 points. However, Bolden is not a viable fantasy option yet, keep an eye on how he performs in these next few weeks.

Khalil Herbert: Herbert has taken advantage of the absence of David Montgomery, posting his second game of 15+ points. Although the Bears were only able to put up three points, Herbert rushed for 100 yards and caught all five targets for 33 yards. After finishing with a total of 18.3 points, Herbert cemented his place as a solid RB2 this week and has a solid matchup with the 49ers next week.
