Tight Ends

Noah Fant: Fant had his biggest game of the season this week in a loss to the Raiders scoring 24.7 points. He caught nine of his 11 targets for 97 yards and a touchdown. Fant showed if he gets the volume he is capable of putting up big numbers as he averaged 10.8 yards a catch. Next week he faces off against the Browns and is a decent choice for your tight end spot.

Mike Gesicki: After a disappointing week last week Gesicki bounced back and scored 19.5 points against the Jaguars. He caught eight of his nine targets for 115 yards. Although he was not able to find the endzone he averaged 14.4 yards a catch. Next week Gesicki faces a weak Falcons secondary where he is a must-start.

Travis Kelce: Kelce had another good week this week scoring 17.9 points against the Washington Football Team. He caught eight of his 11 targets for 99 yards. He had a season-high for receptions this week with eight and had multiple chunk plays that helped move the sticks. Next week he faces the Titans and should be started because of his consistently high volume and production.

Mark Andrews: Andrews had another good week this week scoring 17.8 points against the Chargers. He caught five of his six targets for 68 yards and a touchdown. This is the fifth game where Andrews has had five receptions or more. He was also able to find the endzone for the second week in a row. Next week he faces the Bengals at home and is a must-start.

O.J. Howard: With Gronk’s absence Howard was able to have his first big game of the season scoring 16.9 points against the Eagles. He caught six of his seven targets for 49 yards and a touchdown. Next week you should be hesitant to start Howard especially if Gronk returns. Even if Gronk is out Howard will have a hard matchup against the Bears and will most likely not get the same amount of targets as he did this week.

Ricky Seals-Jones: Jones had his first big game of the season putting up 15.1 points against the Chiefs. He caught four of his six targets for 58 yards and a touchdown. Most of his points came from his 39-yard  touchdown late in the second quarter. Next week Seals-Jones faces a decent Packers defense and should not be started.
