Wide Receivers

Keenan Allen: Allen had a monster game this week against the Jets putting up a season-high score of 34.5 points. Allen caught 16 of his 19 targets for 145 yards and a touchdown. Since the Chargers bye in week six, Allen has seen consistently high volume from his quarterback Herbert. Next week he will try to continue his streak of solid performances against the Bills who have been poor against wide receivers this season. You should not hesitate to start Allen next week.

Adam Thielen: Theilen for the second week in a row was able to score two touchdowns, this week against the Cowboys. Totaling 32.3 points, Theilen was able to catch eight of his 11 targets for a season-high of 123 yards and two touchdowns. Next week Thielen and the Vikings will face the Panthers at home where he definitely should be started.

Robert Woods: Following a weak performance against the Seahawks Woods put on a stellar performance Sunday night against the Buccaneers scoring 30.6 points. Woods had his first double-digit reception game catching 12 of his 15 targets for 130 yards and a touchdown. This is just his second 100-yard25-yard game, the last one being in week one against the Cowboys. The Rams offense has so many weapons that it is hard to guarantee Woods will have big numbers. Next week against the injured 49ers wood should be considered a WR2 at best.

Tyreek Hill: For the third week in a row Hill has put up great numbers. Scoring 27 points Hill was able to catch 11 of his 14 targets for 102 yards and a touchdown. Hill has had over 100 yards receiving for the second week in a row, and for the fourth week in a row was able to score a touchdown. Next week Hill faces the Buccaneers and should have solid numbers making him a must-start.

Damiere Byrd: After not seeing a target last week against the Ravens, Byrd bounced back and put up 26.3 points this week against the Texans. Byrd was able to catch six of his seven targets for 132 yards and a touchdown, he also carried the ball once for 11 yards. Byrd’s touchdown came on a 42-yard deep ball in the third quarter making him the first Patriots wide receiver to catch a touchdown this season. Although a great performance Byrd should not be started next week against the Cardinals.

Davante Adams: For the fourth time this season Adams had over 100 receiving yards and scored a touchdown for the fifth week in a row. For the first time in six weeks, Adams had less than 10 targets but this did not affect his productivity. He caught seven of his eight targets for 106 yards and a touchdown in the second quarter. Next week Adams faces a strong Bears defense but that is no reason to question his value. Adams should see high volume next week and is a must-start.
